Founded in 1964, Jarret, now JARRET STRUCTURES, specializes in the design and manufacture of products which provide shock protection to buildings, bridges and other structures. The fundamental technology of its products is based primarily on the compression of highly viscous elastomeric fluids, a technology that is under continuous development, and that has been successfully applied for more than forty years.

For over forty years, Jarret Structures’ research engineers have been able to offer technically and commercially viable solutions for structural shock absorption problems.
In July 2008, DOUCE-HYDRO acquired Jarret Structures brand, trademark and patents for viscous fluid dampers for the seismic and civil engineering industries, extending its range of products.
